Tirrenia, near Pisa
Not quite as grand as the name might imply but luxurious enough. Our 'twin' room was in fact a large famly room, with a sea view.
Friendly staff in the resturant.
Tirrenia is about 15 km from Pisa, with a cheap and direct bus service every 30 minutes (1.8 euros)
Unique Quality: In October, when we stayed there, it was the low season, so the pool was shut. The close proximity to the beach was great though
