After we checked out and got to airport our flight was cancelled because of fog in Liverpool. I managed to get a cheap deal at another Hotel near the railway station. The Hotel Terminus and Plaza was a 4 star and it was reflected in its rooms. modern, nice bedding, double glazing and great breakfast room.Location was a 20 minute walk from the tower and in a more run down/grotty area, as it was next to the railway station. Both great value for money hotels. The Grand Duomo for its location and cheap mini bar and the terminus and plaza for quality and breakfast
Great views from the front facing rooms at the Grand Duomo. One of us had a single room in the back which had a lovely view of a wall and a cactus. Poor guy, never mind he got it cheap so what did he expect!!
