Of cource the main reason is the leaning tower, but there is so many things to see i'll name a couple.
1)Battistero 2)Camposanto and 3)Museo Dell'opera Dell Duomo. One of my favorites. Was the history ,going up to the top of the leaning tower for the view, and a nice horse and buggy ride around the city.

say 'Bravo!' to modern engineers Unlike their colleagues from earlier ages, modern engineers are more successful in their attempts to return a normal orientation to the tower. As you can see on a picture, there is a complex system of steel ropes, slowly pulling the tower from the direction opposite of falling, while the ground around the tower's base is being strengthened. Engineers say that they are able to make a tower completely straight again, but I'm not sure they will do that. Because straight 'Falling Tower' will become a modest shadow of itself, and Pisa will lose some of its charm...
Eating on the streets
by stressball
When you are in Pisa there are many touristy places to eat. However, if you just go down any of the side streetsthat lead to Pisa you can have a nice pizza for about a quarter of the price of eating in the touristy area.

This is a bit different from the usually trip to the Campo dei Miracoli. This is park consists of coastal forests area of about 40 km, with a sea sandy shore and large inland marshes. It's a beatifull place to walk, or to go around with bike.
San Paolo a Ripa d'Arno
by filipdebont
This San Paolo a Ripa d'Arno is also located along the River Arno (5 minutes walk from the Santa Maria della Spina).
This is probably the oldest Church in Pisa, built in the 9th century. Later on they built a new front in a typical Pisan-Gothisc style.
It looks as this church was built as a model for the big Duomo at the Piazza dei Miracoli.
