Leonardo

HOTEL LEONARDO, a building in the historical centre of Pisa, was renewed maintaining its ancient characteristics.
It is equipped with all modern comforts: lift, rooms with private bathrooms, telephone, fax, satellite Tv, air conditionig, heating and hairdryer. Hotel Leonardo is located in via Tavoleria, 17 in quiet area in Pisa centre, 50 mt. from Piazza dei Cavalieri and from the river Arno, 350 mt. from the Leaning Tower and it is surrounded by lots of typical restaurants where you can taste Tuscan food.

I stayed here one night summer-05 with my girlfriend. The only room left was at the very top, a room without window. So, the room is hardly representative, but it was still OK.

The room was nice and clean, and with a friendly staff.

But the best thing about the hotel is the great location, in the middle of the old town, but still in a quiet, narrow street.

Unique Quality: Great location.

It was around 11:00 PM when I came to Pisa and the area in betwwen the two bridges across the river of Arno was crowded with the people. I stopped by, asking some youngs to suggest me nice but not too expensive hotel. They proposed me hotel Leonardo which is situated in the old core of the town and in the walking distance to the all major sights of Pisa.

Unique Quality: Hotel Leonardo is situated in one medieval building and has not much then 30 rooms. I was in a double room with large bathroom, air-conditioned, Tv-set and mini-bar, which cost me 65 euros, breakfest included. The service in hotel is very good and the stuff is more then friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this accomodation to fellow VTers when visiting Pisa.

I didn't stay at Leonardo Hotel but I heard good comments about it from another vt'er neilward (Neil my friend!!). I was looking for this hotel with Neil, Chiara and Firas and when I saw the hall. It was clean and full of flowers,a very impressive "picture". After heard the comments about the rooms and the service, I recommend it, especially because the hotels stands in the old town of Pisa. By there you can join every touristic place easily.

Directions: 100 meters far from Piazza dei Cavalieri, in the center of Pisa.

Adequate hotel,Excellent location,ovet the river from the railway station,and about 15 minutes walk from the Leaning Tower and associated buildings.
Single room was 75euros,situated on the groung floor next to reception,was a bit noisy at first, but after stomping through the streets of Pisa following Azhut with Pollon and Dr Firas in tow...i could've slept through a riot !!!!!

Unique Quality: Great location,breakfast was a bit basic,cold buffet etc...

Directions: 15 minutes walk from Pisa's main attractions.
