A tip from me if you are looking for a hotel with good price and located centrallt, a clear value for money hotel. and perfect for the family
All of our rooms contain their own bathroom, air conditioning, hairdryer, direct telephone, minibar, TV, SKY-TV, Radio and LAN network.
The apartment has 3 rooms: a double bedroom, a nice bathroom, and a well equipped American kitchen with some coffee, salt, sugar, basic spices and olive oil. There is a supermarket just around the corner, where you can buy everything, what you need.
The area is very touristy, so all the closer parking spots are payparking, but there is a free parking place in a large park 5 minutes away, so you can leave your car there.
Great location, good access to the airport and the train station, well equipped, view of the Baptistery, supermarket just around the corner, buses to the airport and to the station, lots of restaurants and shops nearby, very clean. Sometimes a bit noisy, free parking 5 minutes away.
Renting an apartment can be much cheaper than a hotel: One week 500 euros for 3 or 4 people!!! Pick-up service from airport or station included. The owner speaks French, English, German.
Note: Saturday check-in is not possible. Min. Stay: 3 nights. No Air Conditioning. Weekly Cleaning.
I spent one night here in Relais Sassetti. I liked it cause it is in the city center but there is no noise at all. Pisa city centre isn't acutally noisy cause traffic is banned. This B&B is nice and comfortable. Our room had a small kitchen, TV, a large bathroom and comfortable beds.
I did not stay here (I lived nearby) but booked the room for my parents who absolutely loved it. I did however join them for breakfast on occasion and talked to some of the staff and guests. All very nice and friendly. The hotel is small with only several rooms to choose from and they have just undergone renovations to restore all the frescoes and paintings located throughout the place.
The breakfast was more than ample and never crowded. The villa is off of a mountain road set at the foot of said mountain with a fantastic restaurant called Lady Carlotta ten steps out the door. It's also an ideal location as it is situated virtually between Pisa and Lucca. If it's not clear by now, I would highly recommend this Villa if your looking for a calm, relaxing end to your busy travel day.
Located in the historic centre of Pisa, just a short walk to the Leaning Tower, this guesthouse was named after the Russian writer Maxsim Gorkij. Pensione Gorkij features rooms with a television, phone and bathroom.
Family run business.
Friendly aged staff. They only speak italian.
They do not serve breakfast.
The rooms don't have AC.
Great location; near the Leaning tower.
Huge, clean rooms.
This was a family-run hotel close to the tower.
Rooms were huge and had paintings in the ceiling, quite different. We paid 48 euros for a double without a bathroom, that was the cheapest we could find in the net. Mother, who basically does the business didn´t really speak english, but the sons did.
We were given some poison against the mosqitoes, which were really a pain during the evening when having a dinner outside. This stuff seemed to work as I had no new bites when I woke up.
If you arrive by train and walk to the hotel (about 1,5km) don´t look at the signs to the hotel, as they point to the wrong direction! Maybe there´s another hotel with the same name in the town.. don´t know. Comfy enough hotel though.
You´ll get there with bus number 4 from the trainstation.
Yeah sure there are hotels here, but I didn't stay at one of them. I stayed at a hotel near Lucca (also a pretty city).
Pisa hostel was open at the time of writting this (MAY 2002) my son stayed hear the night before we arrived.
There is a curfew of midnight at this hostel.
Please note at the time of writting the hostel in Siena and San Gimignano were both closed please check before going. The hostel in Florence was open.
The left luggage lockers at both Lucca and Siena train staion were not in use? Go to the bus staion underground in the city centre of Siena where you can leave bags, don't know about Lucca, we just carried them.Don't know about Pisa station we left them in the baggage deposite near the Tower.
It was 15 Euros for a dorm bed, not the 8.77 Euro it say's on the net.
Old Convent next to the river.
85 Euros per night for two people in a twin bedded room with colour TV, intercom, private bathroom with shower and breakfast included.
Cute waiter Alexsandro.
Hotel Roseto. its location at the train station is perfect for exploring the town. I booked over the internet and settled for this one because it was rather cheap. the staff wasn't really friendly, but the room was very nice and colourful. they redecorated it before we came ;-)
we paid around 170 Euro for a three person bedroom for two nights.
hmm, i now remember that they got a garden on the roof but i never saw it. if somebody stays there , tell me!
You can't get much closer to the Campo dei Miracoli and its stunning trio of monuments than the Hotel Roma, a small hotel with comfortable if not very spacious rooms and a surprisingly good breakfast. Get a room at the front and you can see the top of the Tower. There's a courtyard at the back where you can park your car. Or if you are travelling without a car, there's a bus stop right outside the door, with a frequent service to the station and the airport.
