Look up old town
"Old Medieval Citta"
The founding of the city dates back to Etruscan era, but the Romans made it an important outpost in 500BCE along the Cassia Road for protection. The name came from Roman word pistol-pistoria-and changed to today's name.
Piazza dell Duomo is the main focus of the old part of the city, while it expanded in 12-13th centuries. SAn Zeno church is built over in 1108, from the first that was founded in 5th century was destroyed in fire.
"Ornate BEll tower"
This is next to the Duomo and one of the an attractive tower of Italy-my opinion.
"Church San Zeno"
The facade is Romanesque and has green and white striped marble and above the arches are saints perched along the top.
