Prato
Prato, a small, but typical Tuscan town is located app. 20 km north of Florence. That makes it a perfect base for day trips around Tuscany. Tourists are rare and stop here only for a day or less.
The historical centre is nice, but half a day should be enough to see most of it.
The city is known for its textile industry, which started to decline a few decades ago. The textile might be the reason that attracted quite a lot of Chinese imigrants.
