Podere La Marronaia

We first stay in Podere la Marronaia in June 2009 and this year we went back in June 2011 with our friends. We booked the whole farmhouse and it was fantastic. Silvia and Luigi have been as always very welcoming hosts, we really felt at home. We spent hours in the garden holding a glass of their fantastic Intenso wine ( Luigi's favourit wine, I suppose !) Good memories we'll keep in our hearts and mind till our next visit to this fantastic accomodation.

Unique Quality: We have been or visited the 3 flats; the furniture is really nice, with good coordination with colours, style and comfort. The garden is very large, the pool offers a fantastic view on the valley. When immersed in, it seems to be immersed in the middle of the vineyards and oliveyards !

Directions: veery close to the town center we often prefered to walk instead of looking for a parking in town

We can surely say that Agriturismo Podere la Marronaia is one of the best we visited in Italy.
We had our 5th trip to Italy and decided to descover Tuscany booking a "real" farmhouse, and found this wonderful Podere just outside San Gimignano. The location was really spectacular, the building was recently completely restored into 3 flats to rent. The flats inside were comfortable and very well keeped. The owners have been really friendly taking care of us and of all our needs. The all farmhouse seemed to be a perfect island to leave your life far from them midden crowd. We can suggest surely to everybody to visit Luigi and Silvia Dei and their sons Pietro and Corrado; take the chance to spend some days in this peaceful place and don't loose the chance to taste the delicious and organic wine Luigi produces with passion!
