Hotel Da Vinci

Best hotel we stayed at our 2007 Italy trip. Nice looking hotel and clean. Modern looking rooms. Staff was friendly. Simply in our package no breakfast was included, but to be honest, rather go out to a nice cafe for a good cappucino or espresso with a warm pastry.
Walking distance (15-20 minutes) from Empoli train station (Pisa to Florence line). Our goal was to go to both Pisa and Florence. Less than 30 minutes train ride to Florence. Tickets goes for about 3 Euro each way.
Only complaint is the Internet if you don't have your own laptop. Wireless keyboard that must be tilted at a certain angle to receive signal. Mouse pointer was 10 times bigger than content.

Unique Quality: Clean, convenient for being outside of Florence.

Directions: Empoli station, take Via Roma, cross Piazza della Vittoria, continue on Via Tinto da Battifolle, continue until Piazza Guerra, look for bridge and cross to Sovigliana, continue walking on Viale Palmiro Togliatti and hotel is on the left.
