Volterra agrotourism

This agrotourism came as such a lovely surprise. We had just left the beauty of Elba and our outstanding accomodations there, and really, I expected that nothing could meet up to it.

This was lovely. We came to the agrotourism via a long narrow windy road with olive trees on either side. Our very gracious host made us feel welcome. Our room was large and beautiful with a very lovely view of the valley.

Most of the accomodations are actually small apartments, but we stayed in one of the two B&B accomodations.

Unique Quality: Our hostess asked of if we wanted to join us in the the dinner. We are so glad that we did.

Yum! She made the most delicious meal, which was served in what was a chapel on the grounds. We had a fabulous time chatting with the other guests, while eating our multiple-course simple but delicious dinner.

The hotel is a very short drive (5 minutes) to Volterra itself, but offers such a peaceful and lovely retreat.
