The hotel provides a lovely set of toiletries, shower cap, bath gel, shampoo, conditioner, shoeshine (we are in Italy after all) sponge, and moisturizer in travel sizes. Some parts of Perugia can be very noisy. Our hotel room window opened out over the street and a restaurant so without earplugs it would have been very difficult to get a decent night's sleep.
In 1985 I studied Italian for 4 months in Perugia. I lived in a block-of-flats with my friends in the suburb and took a bus to The University for Foreigners in the center of Perugia. I loved this town but sadly I have no photos without people in them.

A: "Perugia is pretty hilly. You might want to rethink your base. How about Lucca? It's flat and would be more accessible to a wheelchair. Just a thought."
