Countryside Castle Living in Umbria
I stayed here for 8 days for reviewing the hilltop town of Todi for my permanent home in retirement from California. And, adieu, what a lovely, gorgeous setting and B&B! Rosary, Kelly her dog) and all her staff made me feel exquisitely at home away from home. The hospitality and atmosphere cannot be rivalled! The B&B is situated a short bus ride from Todi and is located within the walls of a medieval castle. The rooms are large, exceptionally clean and beautifully and charmingly decorated by Rosary who loves her "home" and wishes for all her guests to likewise do so. And, the food is exquisite and I looked forward to each and every meal at Torre Sangiovani!
I spent many hours, an end of March visit, enjoying the front terrace looking over the Umbrian Tiber valley upon many other hilltop towns. The setting was relaxing, nourishing and inviting!
The charm, the warmth, the hospitality, and the service were impeccable and made my stay at the B&B with Rosary and her staff KNOW that I wanted to move and live permanently in Umbria, Italy!!
Grazie, Rosary and all you wonderful staff, who never tired in their dilegence to assist me in speaking some Italian!!
