Matterhorn masterpiece

"Cervinia"

The Italians don't call the mountain the Matterhorn, on thisside it is Monte Cervino, hence the village name of Cervinia.

The skiing is an intermediates paradise with miles of pistes and a link to Zermatt across the border in Switzerland. The night life is excellent but the beer was pricey compared with other Italian resorts.
