A very good hotel ---
I can recomend the Kris it is comfortable well run I have stayed at the Kiris twice in June 2006 and June 2007, I enjoyed both stays in the hotel very much and intend to use it again.
Unique Quality: The Kris it is a good family run hotel, the rooms are stylish and tasteful and the staff helpful friendly and kind. I can also recommend Bardolino as the ideal resort for the first time visitor to the Italian Lakes, it is one of the most pleasant towns on Lake Garda with good shopping and good transport connections. Like the other resorts on Lake Garda Bardolino is kept immaculately clean.
The Kris sits on prime spot facing the lakeside walkway right next door to the immense Parc Gritti hotel . Bardolino town and ferry jetty is only few hundred metres north on the boardwalk. Garda town, Cisano and historic Lasize are also within walking distance for those who want more exercise.
Perhaps the only fault with the Kris is the food, it is very good but less inspired than some of the very best family hotels on the lake. If booking the Kris make sure you stay in the main Hotel not the associated Aida apartments which are not air conditioned.

Beautiful Bardolino
The hotel is medium sized, family run, clean and quite modern. The balconies are small, and face the lake, although some views are obscured by trees. The breakfast is an average Italian buffet breakfast but not always enough of it, especially the fruits. The dinners were really quite unimaginative, main courses served mostly with plain boiled potatoes and over cooked vegetables. Not a 4* hotel, but a very good 3*.
Unique Quality: The position of the hotel is unbeatable, in a quiet location and right on the lake side. The staff were friendly and courteous.
