walk across the wooden bridge of Bassano by angiebabe
This lovely old wooden covered bridge of Bassano is such a highlight to the already picturesque old town that sprawls up the river banks. There are plaques on the bridge giving various bits of information but there are lovely views from the bridge along the river banks with the interesting buildings that are there and up the river to the mountains which were snow topped when I was there in January. If Id realised that there was a hostel in town I would have stayed the night iinstead of rushing on to stay at prebooked acommodation in Trento.
