"Cactelfranco - the city walls"
A few years ago, before joining to VT, I was on business trip in Castelfranco Veneto, spending here two days. I kept in my memory well preserved city walls around small but very beautiful old core of the town and since I like castles and fortified towns , had to comeback here with my camera.
As far as I know, there is another town in Italy with the same name, therefore it has Veneto in adition of the name in order to be distinguished.
"The old core of the town"
Like I said, the old core of the town is rather small and walkable, side to side, in relatively short time. Inside the city walls dominates architecture with characteristic and recognizable Venetian style.

This, on the picture, is part of the town situated right opposite to the city walls. It was Sunday, the election day, and many locals stood in front of the cafe-bars chatting about politics.
