Situated between Bardolino and Peschiera on southern Lake Garda is Lazise. Its name come from "laceses", meaning "place on the lake", which is exactly right! Lazise is a lovely laid back resort with a friendly air.

Piazzeta Beccherie

There are number of cute small squares (piazzeta) all over the place where you can enjoy in the good food, cold drinks and watching people passing by.
This one is called Piazzeta Beccherie, the Butchers Square, situated right next to the Corso Cangrande.

Laid Back Lazise

"Entrance to Lazise"

One of the quieter, less well known resorts on Lake Garda - with suited me fine. Its wide open piazza and promenade were a joy to stroll along. There are also Scaliger fortifications here as in many other resorts on Lake Garda.
