How far is Lazise from Milan Bergamo airport?

by sarah_h159

Me and my dad are going to Lazise in Northern Italy in the summer and we have got a really cheap flight deal to Milan Bergamo airport, but how far would it be to drive from the airport to our accommodation "Residence Pacengo"? Or how much roughly in euros in a taxi??

Please get back to me so we know whether its safe to book the flight.

Thanks!

Lazise is on Garda Lake, near Verona. It's roughly about 90 minutes driving from Bergamo (I'd say more or less 120kms). Basically all the journey would be on highway. I wouldn't suggest catching a taxi, a price for such a ride could be around 200 euros. A train ticket could be far cheaper, around 15 euros per person. Bergamo is not well connected with the railway system, since it's out of major lines, so you'd need about 2-3 hours to reach Verona. From there I guess you find a bus to Lazise. An alternative is renting a car (which you could use to see other interesting places near Lazise).

if it's a ryanair flight, your bus fare (to/from) the airport might exceed the airfare...and a taxi will certainly cost a hell of a lot more. i agree with the post above. take the train to verona instead.

Travel Tips for Lazise

Wide Promenade

by sandysmith

Loved the patterns of the floor of the promenade and also in the Piazza - almost sends your eyes dotty! The wide promenade is a great place for a stroll by the lake front, watching the boats arrive. It was hard to imagine this was August and high season - not so many people there ;-)

Paragliding

by croisbeauty

There are many beach resorts on Lago di Garda where one can practice all kind of water-sports.
Probably the most attractive one is the paragliding. Must be very interesting seeing all this places on Lago di Garda from above. I have never trayed paragliding but would like to do it no metter of fear.
