I am flying with my husband into Bergamo airport on Fri 30 May to stay in Malcesine for a week. As I am pregnant we can't face doing the journey by public transport, are not keen on driving ourselves and are blanching at the cost of a taxi - cheapest quote I've had is 145 E each way (not too bad compared to some others!).
We would be interested in sharing the cost of a taxi transfer if anyone is travelling on the same date/s to a similar destination? Our flight arrives in Bergamo 1500h.

Yes, given the cost of gasoline and the distance, 145 euro seems a good price.
If you don't find someone willing to share (not likely, i fear: how many people going to Malcesine AND reading VT can you find on the same flyght? mmmmmmm) could a shuttle bus be ok for you?

Hi Elanor,
I agree with Francesco, however, if you are looking for someone to share the cost of a taxi it ,may be better to give a little more information about yourselves on your VT homepage. For instance, where you're from, what age you are.....just general information, people can be rather shy when it comes to sharing costs if they feel they are unable to connect with their fellow travellers.

Although there were some stunning views from the tower of Castello Scaligero of the Lake and mountains, I was fascinated by the rooftops of the houses below.
A patchwork quilt of closely fitted buildings, each topped with an angular roof made of pantiles laid in rows of many different hues of beiges, terracotta and browns, stretched towards the Lakes shoreline.
