"Riviera del Brenta"
Although only a few minutes far from Venice, Riviera del Brenta is almost unknown destination for the most of the tourists. It is the unique mixture of history, culture, art and landscapes, situated along the iver of Brenta which flows from Padova to the lagoon.
Only in 1405, the Venetian Republic took control of this area, making it the favourite zone for many aristocratic and rich Venetian families. Starting from the beginning of the 17th century, many splendid houses and in particularly villas, was built here, making it one of the most beautiful part of Veneto Region.
In order to visit it, you have to take the local road in between Padova and Venice. The best is to start your tour from Padova side.
