    • Owned b the same gentleman as the 'Hotel Style', we were transferred here when the Hotel style was full.

    The decor is slightly more polished, the breakfast slightly less chaotic.

    Very much a businessman's hotel. When I say that, I am referring to travelling salesmen proffering spoons rather than high flying execs.

    Could provide a useful base if you want to save a few euro on Venetian hotel prices.

    • oh, it's a hotel allright, but in no sense could it be called 'stylish'. The staff are pleasant enough and the air conditioning works well. Now I have run out of interesting things to say about this hotel. Breakfast was unfortuantly a low point as the coffee came out of a machine and the organisational prowess of Italian workers was clearly on show.

    How to organise an Italian buffet breakfast.

    1. Place the milk (1 empty jug only allowed) at the opposite end of the table to the cereals.

    2. Hide the butter for toast / rolls in a pile of fruit.

    3. Install a toaster that is ridiculously commplicated and will only turn out toast that is either wobbly or cremated.

    4. Hide the fruit juice glasses.
