I stayed at this hotel in May 2010. I booked it because it was one of the cheapest available on Booking.com, after excluding those lying too far from the city centre. It lies close to the Fair of Padua, hence the name.
I went to the hotel from the railway station and felt I'd never reach it... You'd better know that it is not located exactly in via Ugo Bassi, but in a cul-de-sac (luckily, it is signalled!) and, well, it doesn't look like a hotel at all, but rather like a garage or a small shop!
The hotel only has a dozen rooms, which is good because it's not busy, but also bad because it gets full soon.
Do book a room here if you are just looking for a quiet place to overnight, quite close to the station and the city centre but far from the main roads.
Do not book a room here if you are looking for a beautiful hotel with many comforts.
I must say I wasn't disappointed with this hotel but I couldn't sleep well because the room was very hot and I couldn't find the remote control of the air conditioner...
Unique Quality: As I already said, the hotel is very peaceful. The staff were really kind and helpful.
Breakfast is included in the price of the room and you take it at a big table with other guests (if there are any at that moment), which creates a familiar atmosphere, more typical for a B&B than for a hotel.
