Camping Del Garda /Campsite without driving

Does anybody know how far this campsite is from Peschiera - is it walking distance or not? Or can anybody recommend another campsite where car is not required (Bella Italia is not available for the dates I require)

The camp website says it's 3km out the historical center of Peschiera. But, if it's toward north (And Lazise) maybe there is a bus stop not too far.

Hi there
We stayed at Camping Butterfly (www.campingbutterfly.it) which was located adjacent to lakeside and was a gentle stroll away from the town centre, harbour etc. You won't need a car if you stay there. The railway station is quite close as well. There were a few other campsites in the same area of the town and I have a feeling that Camping Del Garda may have been one of them.

brescia airport to peschiera del garda

We are traveling this summer with three children to Camping Del Garda, flying into Brescia airport. Which is the best way to travel? Options seem to be, bus to Brescia then train, or going into Verona, and taxi. Thanks

From Brescia Airport there mightbe a bus which goes to Peschiera

it's on request, its cost is 9 euro, try to contact them at
info@cgabrescia.it and write 'richiesta informazioni' in the subjet then you can write in English.

At least go to Gardaland which is just passed Peschiera :-)

From Verona no need of a taxi: you have train or bus (see my Torri page for more), but probably ing to Bescia first, and then train, you will have better options.
