I will be staying at Peschiera del Garda in May. I would like to go on Mount Baldo. I was advised to go to Malcesine and than go on the mountain. How can I go from peschiera to Malcesine? Also what other places of interest are there to go in Garda especially on the lake?

Other places of interest? I don't know where to start! I placed a few suggestion on my Torri page, but search also Sirmione, Desenzano, Garda, Torbole, Riva, Punta San Vigilio, Limone, Salò......

Thanks a lot for your info. I would like to go on a boat trip visiting I think one of the places names Varenna. Is this good?

No, wrong lake! Varenna is on lComo lake!
Near the city centre is an old Roman site and if you have some imagination you can see what building once stood here.
It is in between houses near a large parking lot and there are always some folks trying to get the best view.
All these pics were taken the 1st of August 2004 when i met Sylvia and her family in Peschiera del Garda.
I was so excited to try for the first time in my life to ski on the water...and after some failed trying, finally I succeded!!! :-)
Stephan tought me some technical issues such as how to stay balanced on my legs, how to position the monoski before planning and so on...
