the Lake of Garda is usually subject to thermal winds. Starting during the night and up till 11 am the "Peler" blows down from the mountains to the plains: it is fresh and clear, and usually stronger in the middle of the lake, and weaker near the shore.
The visibility is high, and the view is clear.
Afters 30/50 minutes of pause, the winds reverts and the "ora" blows from the plans to the Alps: it's warmer, and brings haze...
So, best landscapes in the morning!

Of course, a thunderstorm or any weather perturbation may change the winds and the wind "timetable"
