If you are on the east coast, the one belonging the Verona province, you will see the sun set behind the mountains of the Brescia side. The pictures are all taken from Pai, between Torri and Castelletto di Brenzone. The sunsets all from the same spot.

Torri del Benaco is situated in the north-eastern part of Lago di Garda, the one that belongs to the Veneto region. In the medieval times it was under the rule of Scala Family (known also as Scaligeri), the masters of Verona and its wide surroundings. The Scaligero castle, with its recognizable Ghibelini stayled ramparts, rises in beautiful position of forehead to lake.
The small harbour of Torri del Benaco looks almost like typical mediterranean one. Fishermen's boats and yachts are docked alongside, making the whole sight very pitoresque.
The historic centre with its medieval streets and Venetian style buldings face the harbour. There are a lot of summery manifestations in Torri del Benaco, probably the most interesting is the Guest Festival in August. Besides, every 4th Sunday of the month is the fle market here.
