Being located outside the old city, there is more space for parking (free), the rooms are a bit more spaceous and navigating to/from the hotel in my opinion is easier.

Being a BW chain hotel, you can accumulate member points, but one thing I found very helpful was that in the many cities that I stayed at, I always had the hotel call ahead and reserve a room for me. Having a BW hotel book a room at another BW hotel, they often times offered discounts.
