Hotel Carletto was for me a desperate solution that saved me from sleeping in the train station.
Due to another railway workers strike I had to return to Treviso one day earlier than planned in order to be sure that I’ll not lose the flight.
At 10 pm Hotel Carletto was the only hotel in Treviso that had a free room.
The biggest problem was the transportation from and to the train station. The hotel is located at 30min walking distance from Treviso train station and at that hour the only possibility to get there was the taxi, as all the busses covering the route run until 9:30 pm the latest. The taxi fare costs around EUR 9-.
Despite the fact that my room as pretty small and at late hours there is no possibility to eat either in the hotel or around, the hotel seemed fine and the breakfast was satisfactory.
