My wife and I will travel by Veneto region in September. We will be hosted in Treviso by 5 days. I would like receive tips about what cities it´s cool to visit. It´s no necessary tips about Venice because we were there several times.

Well, there are many towns and villages in That region to visit. I'd suggest to spend some hours in Castelfranco Veneto, Bassano del Grappa. Conegliano and Padova. There are some pages on that places here on VT.

Have you checked the VT Treviso pages for ideas from VT members about what to see and do?

I'd suggest you visit Verona and Padova...but there are lots of possibilities (Milan and Bergamo are 3 hours away by train, which might be too far for a daytrip?).

You can find times, details and fares in English here:

and do check pages on Asolo, Marostica, Montagnana, Soave... Cortina d'Ampezzo and, why not, Garda lake...

I'd definitely say Padova! It is still a university town(The University of Padua began in 1222.) Galileo taught here, and William Harvey was a student.

The 13th Century Basilica of St. Anthony has incredible art work.

The Botanical Garden (medicinal plants) was founded in 1545 by the University’s Faculty of Medicine.

The Scrovegni Chapel has Giotto frescoes painted in the early 14th Century.

Some Palladian villas and Ravenna (incredible mosaics, Dante's tomb, etc.)are easy day trips from Padova.

In Padua you cannot miss the Scrovegni Chapel - the frescoes have been newly conserved/restored and look as fresh and as new as the day they were created!

I agree on Padova (my town :-)), others mentioned already many of its beauty, I will just add that, to visit the outstanding Cappella degli Scrovegni you need to book ahead of time, take a look to my tips about it for more informations here:
