OK, this place was great! Definitely going to stay here when we go back - just make sure you book in advance. Quiet neighbourhood, but so convenient - 1 min from ferry stop, and a heavenly chocolate shop across from the door! Well priced (I had been told by someone that every place they looked at in Venice was well over 150 euro, this was 72 euro for two of us - well worth it). The breakfast was nothing short of amazing. Cereal, juice, rolls with cheese and ham if you wanted. Coffee, tea, basket of fresh crusty rolls, toast, crossiants with lemon filling, jams and marmalades. With what we paid for the room, that breakfast would be worth at least 15 euro at a hotel. And we had been going to ask if we could leave our bags as our flight out was late in the evening and we didn't want to have to pay at the train station - we didn't even have to ask - the owner asked us if we'd like to leave our bags, in a locked closet, and gave us keys to get back into the place so we could collect our bags. This place was really a gem, and if you can get it booked, do it!
Not really any view from our room, but, as said above, convenience and price were a great factor. We opted for a room with separate bathroom, but it was our private bathroom, and only a few steps from the room. Breakfast - A1 - awesome. Literally, about 45 sec walk from ferry stop.
