Great Off-Season Hotel

The hotel is fabulous and definately the best we have stayed in during our short stay in Italy. The room is much more than us poor commoners are used to. It is located in the heart of Rialto and about 3-4 minutes walk from San Marco Square

For €70 a night we have in our room,

Flatscreen tv with Freeview ( We watched BBC World, TV in English for the first time in weeks HOOO!!!)
A gorgeous bathroom with a generous bathtub with shower and a sink finished in marble
An incredibly comfy bed with... 3 pillows (Why do hotels never give a 4th pillow?)
The view isn't fantastic, but then I can't imagine many hotels have one around here, it's just the building opposite and the canal below...
Free WiFi internet (hence the review) but you have to provide id etc so for convenience, ask about the wireless internet when you check-in.

To the regular traveller or during peak season this hotel might not be what your looking for, but we came here for a 3 day break from work in Italian Alps and it's just perfect and much more than what we imagined.

Breakfast is ok as long as you get there about 7:55 - 8:15, I don't particularly enjoy warm milk on cornflakes...go figure

To be quite honest I can't count on my hands how many Hotel's i've stayed in, so Im definately not an expert heh.

Unique Quality: This hotel doesn't really have any "unique" qualities, and to be honest that isn't a bad thing it's just a nice hotel.

The cleaning staff are really cute in their work too, if you leave anything lying about in your room they put it away rather neatly for you... then you start feeling bad about other people tidying your mess hehe, I dont mean like tidying up litter in the room. I mean the first day we were in a bit of a rush to get out and see Venice, so we left our worn clothes in a little pile just under our bedside tables, when we returned they were folded and neatly on our bed...
