Rest and relaxation in Venice, Italy
B & B Venezia is a wonderful change to the hustle and bustle of St. Marks Square. After a day of siteseeing or shopping, it is a pleasure to return to a quiet, relaxing retreat. It is located just a few minutes away from San Marco (center town), in the greenery of the quarter of S.Elena. It is an easy trip by waterboat or a nice stroll of about 15-20 minutes from St. Marks Square. Getting to and from the airport is very easy. Just follow the directions on the website. The owner, Roberto, is very pleasant and helpful. We were always greated with a smile and a Ciao. One of the best parts of this B & B is the rooftop evenings. We would gather on the roof with Roberto and other guests from around the world, share wine, watch the sunset and chat. What fun!
Rooms are clean, comfortable and air conditioned which is very important in the summer. Breakfast consists of breads, fruit, cereal, meat, jams, etc. Internet access is available.
We stayed in the Attic Room which is not for tall persons. I'm 5 foot 10 inches and had to watch my head but my 5 foot 1 inch wife was fine. I really liked the Attic Room as it was a bit removed from the other rooms.
