On a recent trip to Venice, we wanted to celebrate an anniversary, so we thought, what the hell - time to let our hair down. We arrived at the Bauer Palazzo Hotel on their private launch and disembarked right on the Grand Canal. From tht moment, we were totally pampered. We had a junior suite with faulous virews of the Grand Canal. The staff could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. From breakfast take on the eighth floor roof garden to cocktails on the canal side terrace, a nod at a member of staff was enoug to have someone scuttling to serve us. A fabulous experience.
The Bauer Palazzo has so many unique qualities, I wouldn't know where to start. From bathroom slippers replaced daily to the room being cleaned twice daily. Newspaper outside the suite every morning. Walk in wardrobes(his and hers). Bath robes. Just a tiny glimpse of the hotel's unique qualities
