This is a B&B with a very attractive site on the internet. I was intrigued and reserved a room 3 months in advance. This included a deposit.
I arrived by train at night. The instructions were poor from the B&B, so I had to get an explanation and a map from the tourist office in the train station. Dragging my wheelie over bridges, up and down stairs, along narrow streets searching for the address tired after a long journey I finally found the building.
Going up a large number of stairs I finally arrived! At the reception I was told that my reservation was canceled!!! The so-called explanation was that the guest previous to my own visit didn't want to leave, so they let him stay. This despite my advance deposit.
Later I inquired of the Italian Tourist Office. In Italy it is legal to do this sort of thing if they provide me with another place to stay of equivalent value. I will make a separate tip about that place. No way equivalent!!
Unpleasant people that don't keep a contract. Not recommended.
