I loved this hotel so much. We got a room on the second floor, with a window on a canal just off the grand canal. It was soooooo small. The next morning we asked for another room. They gave us a big room on the first floor, with a side window and a front window on the grand canal. It was lovely. So romantic you can hear the singers on the gondolas. I loved it. The price was soooooo good, 100 euros a night. The breakfast was basic but ok; we weren;t there to eat. We came by airport and took the bus which dropped us just a few minutes from the hotel. If u come by train, the station is facing the hotel. I recommend that you buy a three day pass for transportation because you will use alot of transportation. It is far from city center which is better; not noisy or crowded , and transportation is excellent. There is a great pizza place next to the train station, it is the best pizza in italy; try it. The only problem was that there is no elevator and lots of steps.
Unique Quality: Great location and excellent price.
it's a nice place overlooking canale grande [grand canal] and there's a garden with gazebo
Unique Quality: within walking distance to see daily venetians life by the canal
This is a good hotel for the price and location. Across the canal from the train station. Building appears to be in two buildings Walter building and Canal building. The Canal building is far better. Our first room was in Walter side and was very small and cramped. We had our room changed to the Canal wing and the room was far larger and faced a small canal on side of the building. Breakfast as adequate but not sumptuous.
Unique Quality: Very good location. Nicely decorated rooms- appears to have been refurbished recently.
Directions: Near train station and Piazza Roma (bus station)
