The Location is perfect- just in between San Marco and the Rialto Bridge. Yes, it is touristy area, but you can't escape that in Venice! The other plus is breakfast is delivered to your room at a time specified by you. It consisted of rolls, crackers and coffee- all of which was delicious. The hotel also has a terrace on the top- not a lot of views, but charming nonetheless.
Two downsides are: No lift available so you may have to walk up a couple flights of stairs. The other downside was their is international pay phone in the lobby to use with your credit card that we used a couple of times. We were charged $40.00-$80.00 per call- but didn't find this out until a couple months after when our credit card bill came. This really had nothing to do with Casa Cosmo, but it would have been nice if they warned us about this. I guess I was ignorant to the fact that these international pay phones charged outrageous rates.
