Budget hotel
We stayed here for 5 nights in August 2009
We found the hotel basic and clean.
The staff wer lovely and very helpful.
We got a very good rate and the hotel suited the price

Super hotel
Excellent hotel for a bargin price.
Me my partner did a very cheap package deal with Easyjet and this hotel was included in the package.
Lovely room and the staff were very helpful and personal.
The room had all you needed -
big shower
comfy bed
mini bar
t.v.
Breakfast was nice and very continetal
Bus stop right outside of the hotel and busues came every 30 mins.
I do reommend buying a ticket from the main station in Venice though as this hotel is about 15 min journey away from the centre and on a number of occassions the bus drivers never had tickets on boards so we had to walk 10 mins to the nearest tobacconists to buy the tickets.

Convinient Location
Our stay at the Club Hotel was very nice. The room was not plush but clean, nice fluffy large towels, strong power shower. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included and consisted of tea/coffee, juice, bread rolls, croisents, boiled eggs, sliced cheese and meat, fruit salad (tinned) and cereal.
Unique Quality: You can park in the hotel car park for 9 euros. Outside the hotel is the bus stops to take you through to Venice. Ticket costs one euro and you can buy tickets at the nearby tobacconist and validate them on the bus.

hi.
i will arrive on venice from milan on the 10th of february and leaving venice on the 12th going on to geneva in switzerland.
i thinking of staying on the Club Hotel Venice (* * *).

I've never stayed there, but are you aware that this hotel is not in Venice? It is in Mestre on the mainland, and not that close to the train station in Mestre, either. In order to get to Venice, it looks like it takes 20 minutes on the bus to get to the train station in Mestre - then figure 10 minutes to take the train to the Venice island train station. So I would say it is not well situated. But it is inexpensive.

i only choosen this one because of the price. it is the cheapiest three star hotel that i have found in venice.
can you help me finding a better option?
by the way, i'm thinking of renting a car to travel to milan to venice and then to use it to see venice.

Renting a car to get from Milan to Venice is not a good idea. First of all, you're going to Venice where there are no streets for cars, only canals.
Just take a train which is convenient, easy and cheap. Look up schedules and costs at www.treniatlia.com.
