A nice Foresteria just a few steps from Accademia vaporetto station. (Another vaporetto station at Zatterre is also not far away which is great for other directions) Very convenient as no bridges have to be crossed from the train / bus station - important concerning luggage! Rooms are clean, and equipped quite simply but with everything you need: en suite bath room, tv, telephone. No noise from outside in the evening, walls may be a little bit thin though - depending to the neighbours (so it may be advisable to bring Ohropax with you). Breakfast is served at Hotel Belle Arti, just one step at the other side of the road. Single Room: 55 €, Double: 110€
Prices have changed in the meantime, approx. 60 - 65 € for a single room. (2006)
