Picture this. The sun is just up, you are in Venice for your first morning, and are not quite used to the heat yet. You left the window open, but the shutters half closed. The market place is beggining to stir to life beneath your window. You are awakened to the sound of a string quartet below advertising the classical music show in the nearby theatre. Amateur musicians in this city are professionals in others.
