No amenities, and a flight of stairs (no elevator). Walking up to the 3rd floor with even lightly packed luggage still recommend some effort.
3rd floor room's key are old fashion key, and require some practice to open and lock the door. Trick is not to push it all in and turn a full circle twice (should hear 2 click). Bathtub was small and horrible. Normal size shower curtain was laying in the tub and keep covering up the drainage, so have to keep moving it away in order not to overflood. Also, sink was outside of the bathroom beside the bed. Cleaning maid keep opening the windows while we were away, as such mosquitoes flown into the room, and with extra high ceiling unable to kill them, we ended up with a few mosquito bites.
2nd floor (friend's room) was renovated, but bed was short, as such my friend had to curl up his leg while sleeping.
Not the most expensive one for a hotel on the island, but could be better. If it is the first time to Venice, you will likely miss the street, as it is a narrow street (perhaps 6 feet wide). Very convenient location - 2-3 minutes from Santa Lucia train station, and Ferrovia Vaporetto stop.
Excellent location. Quiet neighbourhood. Close to train station and vaporetto station.
