The hotel is just enough off the beaten tourist track to be fairly quiet, although it's near restaurants and shops and a picturesque canal. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Our room for the four of us was in the adjacent annex, and it had a double and bunk beds, which the kids loved. It was basic, but clean and bigger than a lot of European budget hotel rooms. The shared bathroom was fine, and there wasn't much competition for it.
Breakfast is coffee or tea, croissants and rolls, juice and cheese, all acceptable.
Dalla Mora made a good base for our sight-seeing, for a price it's hard to beat in Venice.
A very helpful and pleasant receptionist greeted us, our room was in an adjascent building to the main office, we were on the 1st floor over looking the canal. The room was spacious, it had a shower, wash basin with a shared toilet.
The storage/cupboards etc was large for packing away all your stuff out of site.
TIP: Take mosquito repellant...
Unique Quality: Breakfast was included in the price and consisted of Orange juice, coffee, croisants, breads, toast, jam, cheese...etc. Outstanding value.
Directions: About a 15 min walk from the train station, there is a map on the website.
