Terrible service... Rude and Contemptuous
We booked online and mad eout way to the Hotel from Monaco. After a long drive we arrived around 8pm to find they had entered the expiriy date on my credit card incorrectly. The CC had therefore been declined and they had not bothered to call saying "we don't waste money on calls to declined credit cards." and also claiming I had given them the wrong expiry.
We therefore had to pay 50 % more for our room which they said was a double but was actually two singles pushed together.
They were extremely rude throughout our stay and it very unpleasant.
I was going to put a complaint in with the tourist office, but any council that charges 1.5 euro to use the disgusting dirty toilets obviously encourages extortion.
Venice itself was stunning though... Go there! get lost and off the tourist trail!
