Taking advantage
A room had been booked for 3 nights for one person @ 50 Euros per night. My mother decided to join me on the trip at the last minute. You would think how much more could they charge..how about more that double to 120 euros per night. This was considered excessive for the out of the way location. Breakfast was not great. The room was nice, but very small with no desk or sitting accomadations. English was limited and the tone was accommadating but not cordial. Internet, biking, beach all cost extra. Better places to stay for the price. Great price for one person. Lido Beach is actually a very nice location, but eating accomadations are limited unless you know where to go which we did not. Just choosing a place on the street was less than satisfactory.
I would only recommend this place if you had a firm price for what you were getting. It is out of the way and quite. Going to Venice or to the airport was easy.
