Museum pass by IreneAchternaam
My tip would be to buy a museum pass if you are a couple of days in Venice. It only costs 15,50 euro and you get free admission to 10 musea. Also you don't have to wait in line with all the tourists for the Ducal Palace, because there is a special line for the museumpass.
Unfortunately I bought it at the end of my holiday, so I only saw a few of them.........
The 10 musea are:
* Palazzo Ducale - very impresssive!
* Museo Correr - history of Venice
* Museo archeologico - beautiful Roman statues!
* Sale monumentali bibliotheca Marciana
* Ca' Rezzonico - 17th century palace with decorated rooms and lots of paintings. I loved the frescoes!
* Museo di Palazzo Mocenigo - a small but elegant 18th century palace, with original furniture ánd some historic dresses and suits. Very nice!
* Museo del Vetro
* Museo del Merletto
* Casa di Goldono
* Ca' Pesaro - Galeria internazionale d'arte moderna
