Quiet Area and Nice Accomodations
My boyfriend booked this 3 star hotel with pretty decent reviews. The hotel seemed more like a bed and breakfast. Cozy but not fancy. Unfortunately, it's tough to get around Venice without motor transportation. It was raining when we arrived. A private boat taxi would have cost us €90 but would have dropped us off right at the hotel. Instead we opted the ferry at much less €12 to drop us off at the closest point to the hotel. Then we had to walk with our luggage for quite a distance on cobblestones and trying to manuever a map because we had never been here before. Other than that, the accomodations were nice. No elevator so we got our daily exercise walking up to the 3rd floor. Breakfast was served daily and it was nice. Our hotel was not located in a central area but taking the ferry or walking across town wasn't too difficult. I think for the price, this was worth it.

Our stay was one of the most comfiest I've ever had, unfortunately it did not having any tea and coffee making facilities which was a disappointment, but it did have a mini-bar, large oak wardrobe, LCD flat screen tv with satellite, safety deposit box ( FOC) hairdryer, disabled facilities in some rooms and bath&shower.
The breakfast was continental with a large variety of drinks on offer.
I would recommend this hotel to others even though it is about 25mins walk to St. Marc's Square, the decor as I said in my intro is fantastic and extremely clean. Beds are made daily and towels are fresh everyday. Tiziano is a family run business and guests get an extra piece of friendliness from the family dog !

car rental florence to rome
Hi im looking to rent a car at florence on the 3rd and return to rome on the 5th of august. We will be renting it to travel around florence and drive to rome, it's gonna be fun! We will be probably be using hertz.
My question is, Where in Rome should we return the car?
We are staying at Hotel Tiziano at corso vittorio Emanuele II, 110. It would be nice to know which of these car rental stations (for hertz) is nearest to this location.
