    Great,very helpful staff,really friendly.
    Breakfast was bought up to the room,it consisted of Hot Chocolate,!!!!!,Orange juice,bread,croissants,and some fruit.It was fine,and set us up for the days exploring ahead !!

    • Calle Ospedaletto, in Castello. Nearby to the large church Giovanni e Paolo, this little place has eight nice rooms, and ours was on the top floor. They serve breakfast in your room, which is air-conditioned, and the location is close enough to the centre to be accessible, but in a quiet enough area not to be too packed with camera-toters. I think though if you don’t like tourists, you shouldn’t come to Venice, but it’s nice to escape the madness. It cost us 110€ a night.

    I could see the rooftops of Venice and the Campanile from the window, but mainly I could see into the apartment opposite...
