The hotel itself seems a bit of an off-shoot. It's actually part of the adjacet Hotel Zecchini, and it is here that you check in. You then have to shimmy down quite a small alleyway (which was a bit damp) beside the hotel Zecchini to get to your rooms.
The rooms were quite, considering the proximity to the train station and a fairly main road. The airconditiong was also good.
Breakfast wasn't provided, but it was surrounded by restaurants and cafes.
It is also so close to the station - and piazza roma where the buses come in. We arrived via bus and got a vaporetto to the hotel - but we realised how close it was, and ended up just wlaking back to the piazza to get the bus home and saved on the vaporetto! (However, you do have to go over 3 bridges, which was alright for two sprightly kiwi girls!)
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to someone going there for a romantic break. It's just go no luxuries. However, for someone like myself who was only there for two nights with a friend, to see the sights on a budget, it was perfect!
