Hotel Nazionale
I booked this hotel for 2 nights in July and am wondering if any of you know about it.
It's in the Cannategio Ovest area, it's a 3 star hotel, and I got it for 50 Euro a night (single). Looks like it's close to the bus and train station.
Seems a bit cheap to me ....any idea why this may be?
This is my second time in Venice and my plan is to go to Burano for the day, maybe stop in Murano, so I don't think I will stay around the hotel much, maybe just for lunch/dinner. Any suggestions?

i don't know that hotel, because i don't live in Venice, anyway about Burano is very nice place, but i think u can go just for a visit , u can see Murano and Burano in the same day, ecause they are 2 small palces.

Spending a day in Burano and Murano would be just enough time. Even with shopping and exploring the day would be just about right. Be careful, however, the ferries leaving Burano don't leave very often in the evening and I'm not sure if they run late in the evening at all.
Murano is a very picturesque Island and the people very friendly and accommodating. Murano is my favorite Island.

Hi...
I'll be going to venice next wk... and i've not book the accomodation yet... i'm wondering if staying in Burano or Murano would be a good idea??? Or should i stay in venice itself?

I've talked to several people who have stayed on Burano and really loved it. That would be my choice if I wasn't staying in Venice.

If you do stay in Burano it will take some time to get to Venice. If you haven't been to Venice yet you might be restricted by the travel time to Venice, so it really is what you want to do and how many tourist do you want to see.

hmm.. actually it's my 1st time there and i'll only have 2 days to be there... but i really like those colorful houses in burano.. looks like a lovely place to stay in... but i've only 2 days to 3 days to feel venice... ..
Burano Hotel?
Do you know where I can find somewhere to stay on Burano? (We have been to Venice many, many times and want something peacful and new!) I have searched for Hotels, Bed and Breakfasts and apartment rentals and have come up with a few on Murano, but found nothing yet on Burano. Any suggestions woulf be great! Thank you.
