    As the last time I had booked the Hotel Olimpia and this time they had not overbooked, so we were able to stay there. We had a nice room, even our own balcony. However, it was too cold to sit outside.Breakfast was very good, buffet style with lots of various food to choose from. I really liked some small pastries, filled with vanilla cream. Delicious!

    We had got a good deal through DER Tours , so the room was a bargain for Venice, about 90 Euro for a double, ensuite bath and breakfast.

    It's no more than 5 to ten minutes walk from the train station to the hotel, even less from Piazzale Roma.

    Hotel Olimpia is near Piazzale Roma and very easy to walk to from the bus terminal. It is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in Venice. Right on a canal, drinks or snacks can be taken outside on the path while you watch the canal traffic gliding by. Although a 3 star hotel,
    the service is unquestionably 4 star. Friendly and helpful staff with lots of tips on where to go and what to see. Rooms are beautifully decorated in Venetian style and are spotlessly clean.
