Hotels in Venice can be quite expensive. At Palazzo Cendon I found the relation between price and quality to be very reasonable. The rooms were very comfortable and with a good size.
The bathroom was very good. On the downside was the fact that the breakfast was very poor in choices (not even cheese or ham were available).
The location. It was far from St Mark square, but very near the bus terminal and the train station, which is a plus if you are carrying your luggage. If you arrive by train, you can reach the hotel without crossing any bridge. The hotel faces the canareggio canal, and some of the rooms have a good canal view. The hotel can be a bit difficult to find, but is right next to a bar called “Parlamento”. The bar closes early so I found the hotel to be very quiet during the night. There is also a vaporetto stop very near the hotel.
